A driver and min-van were arranged for our sight-seeing, and we loved seeing most of the iconic parts of Sri Lanka, including the Cultural Triangle, the train journey to Nuwara Eliya along with a safari and whale watching. And on this occasion the England cricket team delivered, and both games were memorable in their own right – an entertaining T20 win in front of a partisan home crowd and a wonderful test match victory at the unique venue offered in Galle. Throughout the cricket part of our trip all the Howzat team were really helpful, with Bob and Helen a great partnership at our hotel.
