Arrive into Ahmedabad and after clearing customs and immigration transfer to your hotel where you can check in for the next three nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Ahmedabad is the most major city in the state of Gujarat, and hosts some incredible architecture and a bustling street-food scene. Birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, Ahmedabad was named the first UNESCO Urban World Heritage Site in India.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day of sightseeing in Ahmedabad. The tour will include the Sabarmati Ashram on the riverbank - an inspiring place where we will learn more about the life of Mahatma Gandhi. We will also visit the Adalaj Step-well which is a beautiful example of a 15th Century water storage mechanism. Finally, the Sarkhej Roza, also from the 15th Century, is a unique complex of tombs and palaces, and represents a true amalgamation of Hindu, Jain, and Islamic style.
In the evening, you are invited to join your Tour Manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks. This will also be an ideal chance for you to meet your fellow Howzat Travellers.
Today is the tournament opener and a rematch of the enthralling final between these two sides in 2019.

This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Jaipur. On arrival, we will then transfer to Ranthambore National Park where we will check-in for a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in Northern India.
Today we will enjoy two game drives in open-air vehicles. One before breakfast in the morning sun, and one post-lunch too. This will give us the best opportunity to see some of India's richest and most diverse wildlife with over 270 species of birds, 12 reptiles and 30 mammals present in the National Park.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the train station with the group for our journey to Delhi. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a one night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Getting the train in India is a must-do experience, and the best way to travel this route. The rest of the afternoon will be at your leisure to enjoy at the hotel or exploring Delhi.

Dharamsala is famously the home-town of the Dalai Lama, who now resides a couple of miles away in McLeod Ganj.

After breakfast, we will head out on a sightseeing tour of Dharamsala. We will visit the Namgyal Monastery in McLeod Ganj - the personal monastery of the Dalai Lama, as well as immersing ourselves in Tibetan culture at the Norbulingka Institute of Tibetan Arts and the Tsuglagkhang Complex, which includes a visit to the residence of the Dalai Lama. McLeod Ganj is located around 8km from Dharamsala and lies in a picturesque valley in the Himalayas.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a three night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
New Delhi is a unique city steeped in history yet bustling with modern life and colour.
After breakfast, we will head out on a sightseeing tour of Delhi, starting in Old Delhi with the Red Fort and the Raj Ghat - where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.
After lunch (at own expense), the tour will continue past the imposing Delhi Gate, impressive government buildings and the Qutab Minar, or the 'Tower of Victory,' which was built to establish the might of Islam.

Jaipur - often referred to as 'The Pink City,' because in 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh had most of the buildings painted pink—the colour of hospitality—in preparation for the visit of Queen Victoria.
After breakfast this morning, the group will head to the Amber Fort in Jaipur - one of India's most popular attractions. The honey-coloured fortress palace is extensive and there are lots of chambers and courtyards to explore, some of which with striking views of the gorge.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Observatory and the City Palace, including the Hawa Mahal, one of Jaipur's most photographed highlights.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and board the coach to Jaipur. It's a long day of travel, but on the way there we will stop for lunch at a boutique hotel in Bharatpur, as well as visiting Fatehpur Sikri - a magnificent deserted red sandstone city with forts, palaces and mosques.
After breakfast, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra - visiting the Fort and Itmad-ud-daulah. Construction of Agra Fort began in 1565 and the citadel offers some awe-inspiring marble palaces and terrace pavilions. We'll continue onto the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, which is often referred to as the Baby Taj. The building is exquisite and a must-visit when in Agra.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Taj Mahal in time for sunset. Built as a monument of eternal love by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal took 20 years to build and the efforts of 20,000 labourers and craftsmen. It's a truly stunning sight and the close-up detail is jaw-dropping.
After breakfast, check-out of your hotel and board the transfer by coach to Delhi, where we can check in for a one night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The drive will last approximately four hours.

Mumbai is a bustling metropolitan hub on the Arabian Sea. The capital of Maharashtra, this city is overflowing with energy and culture.
Today see's England take on South Africa in Mumbai at the iconic Wankhede.
After a leisurely morning, board the match-day transfer to the stadium. The game will likely run into the evening, after which the coach will return you to your hotel.
The Wankhede is one of the most famous stadiums in India and a fantastic place to end our tour on a high!
Check out of your hotel this morning and transfer back to the airport for your flight home.

Rebuilt in 2020, and named after the current Prime Minister of India in 2021, the Narendra Modi Stadium is the biggest stadium in the world. England will be back here to play Australia, and will hope to return a third time for the final on the 19th November.

One of the most picturesque cricket venues in the world, this colourful stadium is unique in that it sits 1,457m above sea level and offers stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayan Mountains in the background. England took part in the first ever ODI here in 2013, beating India by 7 wickets.

Established in 1883, the Arun Jaitley Stadium (previously known as Feroz Shah Kotla) is one of the oldest in India. In 1999, Anil Kumble became the second bowler ever to claim all ten wickets in a test match innings here, against Pakistan. This will be the fourth Cricket World Cup to feature the Kotla!

The Wankhede was the venue of the 2011 Cricket World Cup final, when India became the first host country to win on home soil. It was also host to Sachin Tendulkar's emotional farewell to international cricket in 2013. The stadium is steep and imposing, and travelling supporters will certainly be taken aback.
