Mumbai is a bustling metropolitan hub on the Arabian Sea. The capital of Maharashtra, this city is overflowing with energy and culture.
In the evening, you are invited to join your Tour Manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks. This will also be an ideal chance for you to meet your fellow Howzat Travellers.
This morning, we will head out on a sightseeing tour of Mumbai - stops will include Dhobi Ghat, the world's largest open-air laundry which is still popular today. It's an amazing sight and gives a unique insight into how Mumbai functions. The tour will also head through the business districts of Southern Mumbai and pass various monuments built during the British era, before visiting the stretch of Marine Drive which is popularly known as the Queen's Necklace, with a photo opportunity at the Gateway of India - built in 1911 to commemorate King George V.
Today see's England take on South Africa in Mumbai at the iconic Wankhede.
After a leisurely morning, board the match-day transfer to the stadium. The game will likely run into the evening, after which the coach will return you to your hotel.
The Wankhede is one of the most famous stadiums in India and a fantastic place to begin our cricketing journey in India!
This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Varanasi is the spiritual capital of India, and it's famous for the riverside steps, or ghats, which lead into the holy Ganges river. The temples and structures of these ghats are incredibly culturally significant and date back to ancient India.
In the evening, we will visit an Aarti ceremony at one of these ghats - oil lamps are offered to the river, and the ceremony involves mantra chanting and the ringing of bells. After the ceremony, we will return to the hotel.
When visiting this part of India, a must-do is to experience an early morning boat ride on the Ganges. The group will head out on a boat ride and watch the ghats glow in the first rays of sun - various rituals and ceremonies will be occurring on the ghats, and we will gain greater insight into how important this river is culturally and the impact it has on the locals daily lives.
The group will then return to the hotel for breakfast before some downtime for the rest of the morning. In the afternoon, we will visit Sarnath, which is the site of Buddha's first sermon after the achievement of enlightenment, before heading to Mulagandhakutty Vihara - the meditation site of Buddha during his monsoon retreats.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the airport with the group for your flight to Bangalore. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a three night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Bangalore, or Bengaluru, is one of India's most developed and progressive cities where you'll find lovely green spaces and striking Victorian-era architecture.

This afternoon we will walk through the old city market, a great place to pick up some souvenirs! The colourful flower market is quite spectacular, and the walking tour will include an explore around the remains of the Kempe Gowda fort too.

England will be hoping for a better return here this tournament, after they tied with India and lost to Ireland here in 2011!
This morning, check-out of your hotel and transfer to the airport with the group for your flight to Lucknow. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a three night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Lucknow, or 'The City of Nawabs' is the capital of Uttar Pradesh and is full of Mughal and British-Raj era architecture, history and culture.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day of sightseeing in Lucknow. The tour will visit Asfi Imambara, a Shia Muslim shrine and a symbol of generosity and brotherhood. Other landmarks that we'll stop at will include the imposing gateway Rumi Darwaza and the Husainabad Imambara shrine. The tombs of Saadat Ali Khan and Begum stand majestically opposite Hazrat Mahal Park, and we'll have some time to admire the architectural granduer of these. Finally, we'll visit the British Residency and it's cannon-scarred walls - the residency was the subject of the Siege of Lucknow in 1857, a key part of the Indian Rebellion that year.

England have never played an international fixture at this venue, so it will be a new experience for much of the squad - although it will be familiar to Mark Wood of Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and jump aboard the transfer to Agra. The journey will take approximately five hours. On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Taj Mahal in time for sunset. Built as a monument of eternal love by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal took 20 years to build and the efforts of 20,000 labourers and craftsmen. It's a truly stunning sight and the close-up detail is jaw-dropping.
After breakfast, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of Agra - visiting the Fort and Itmad-ud-daulah. Construction of Agra Fort began in 1565 and the citadel offers some awe-inspiring marble palaces and terrace pavilions. We'll continue onto the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, which is often referred to as the Baby Taj. The building is exquisite and a must-visit when in Agra.
This morning, check-out of your hotel and board the coach to Jaipur. It's a long day of travel, but on the way there we will stop for lunch at a boutique hotel in Bharatpur, as well as visiting Fatehpur Sikri - a magnificent deserted red sandstone city with forts, palaces and mosques.
On arrival, we will then transfer to the hotel where we will check-in for a two night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
After breakfast this morning, the group will head to the Amber Fort in Jaipur - one of India's most popular attractions. The honey-coloured fortress palace is extensive and there are lots of chambers and courtyards to explore, some of which with striking views of the gorge.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Observatory and the City Palace, including the Hawa Mahal, one of Jaipur's most photographed highlights.

Ahmedabad is the most major city in the state of Gujarat, and hosts some incredible architecture and a bustling street-food scene. Birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, Ahmedabad was named the first UNESCO Urban World Heritage Site in India.

The Wankhede was the venue of the 2011 Cricket World Cup final, when India became the first host country to win on home soil. It was also host to Sachin Tendulkar's emotional farewell to international cricket in 2013. The stadium is steep and imposing, and travelling supporters will certainly be taken aback.

The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium is flanked by the picturesque Cubbon Park and is home to Royal Challengers Bangalore and Virat Kohli in the IPL. Notable moments at this stadium include Michael Clarke's debut hundred, Anil Kumble's 400th test wicket, and the debut of both Sir Viv Richards and Gordon Greenidge in 1974.

England have never played an international fixture at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, so this will be a new experience for much of the squad - with the exception of those with IPL contracts, as it is home to the Lucknow Super Giants.
