During the tour enjoy a cricket evening joined by a special guest. With past guests including Jonathan Agnew, Phil Tufnell, Jim Maxwell, Sir Alastair Cook, Steve Harmison, Graham Gooch, and many, many more this is a fantastic opportunity to get a unique insight into the game in the company of your tour group.
As part of the tour itinerary, your trip will begin with welcome drinks and an opportunity to meet your Tour Manager and fellow tourists. A group dinner hosted by your Tour Manager is also included during your trip in Sri Lanka.
To ensure you have the best possible experience on tour, you will have a dedicated Tour Manager escorting your tour group in Sri Lanka. They will be supported by an extensive office and on-site operations team

Please note, the schedule is yet to be publicly confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket, and is provisional and subject to change. If the schedule does change, we will contact you with your options, which will include moving your booking to the updated version of your tour, or a refund on any monies paid to date.
After making your own way to the airport, check in/drop your bags off and board your flight to Colombo.

On arrival into Colombo, you will be transferred to your hotel where you can check in for your 6 night stay on a bed & breakfast basis.
This evening, get to know the rest of your group at Welcome Drinks with your Tour Manager.
Join with other tour members and staff for an informal welcome to Sri Lanka and the 2026 cricket tour.
Spend a day at leisure and get accustomed to your new surroundings. Colombo is Sri Lanka's vibrant commercial and executive capital, known for its rich history as an ancient port city, diverse culture, and bustling urban environment.
After breakfast, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the first match of the series! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
After breakfast, head out with the group on a sightseeing tour of Colombo. We will drive through the commercialised area that both the Portugese and Dutch once used as a Fort, and 'Pettah' - a bazaar that will give us a unique insight into the hustle and bustle of life in Colombo. The trip will also visit a Hindu Temple, Independence Square, and the Buddhist Temple - Gangaramaya.
This excursion is included in the cost of your package.
A full day of optional sightseeing if you would like to add it to your package. Alternatively, spend a day at leisure in Colombo if you would prefer a slower-paced day.
After breakfast, we will proceed to Balapitya and enjoy a scenic cruise along the Madhu River - there are lots of mangroves here and we will be able to appreciate the natural rhythm of rural life in Sri Lanka. We may be able to see some traditional fishing techniques and locals cultivating cinnamon.
After the boat trip, we will head south to Galle on the coach (approximately 2.5 hours) , visiting the famous Galle Fortress - a favourite from many previous trips to Sri Lanka.
Once we are finished in Galle, we'll head back to Colombo via the expressway, stopping off at a turtle hatchery en-route, where we will learn about the conservation efforts being put in to help these animals.

After breakfast, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the 2nd ODI! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel in Colombo, before checking out and leaving for Kandy for the next leg of our tour.
It will take approximately 3.5 hours to reach Kandy, where we will be able to check-in for a 5 night stay on a bed & breakfast basis.
Join the rest of the group in a sightseeing tour of Kandy today.
After breakfast, the tour will head to the Perdadeniya Botanical Gardens - first built by a Sinhala King and then expanded by the British, the 147 acres of these gardens are a sight to behold. Once we're finished here, we will head into Kandy itself to visit the town and market, before finishing at the Temple of the Tooth Relic with a traditional Sri Lankan show.

After breakfast, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the final ODI! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
After breakfast, we have an excursion organised to visit Nuwara Eliya in the hills of tea country. We will visit a tea plantation and factory - where the best tea in the world is produced! There is the opportunity to taste pure Ceylon tea in the factory.
In Nuwara Eliya itself, we will visit 'Little England.' This was the cool-climate escape for the British who founded the tea plantations, and has a real British countryside feel to it. Afterwards, join the coach back to the hotel in Kandy.
It is approximately a 2.5 hour journey each way.

After a leisurely day at the hotel, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the first T20I! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
Today we check out of our Kandy hotel and make the journey to Dambulla for the next two fixtures of our tour. The journey will take just over two hours, and on arrival in Dambulla we can check-in to our hotel for a 5 night stay on a bed & breakfast basis.
On the way to Dambulla, we will stop at a village in Matale, where we will be shown how a variety of spices are grown here.
After a leisurely day at the hotel, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the second T20I! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
Today you have the opportunity to add an excursion to Sigiriya Rock to your package. We highly recommend this, though it does involve climbing a lot of stairs.
After breakfast, we'll proceed to the 5th Century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a world heritage site. The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty, rising 200m from the jungle floor. On the journey up the rock, there are some ancient paintings called the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya - these are a must-see.
On completion, return to the hotel with the group.

After a leisurely day at the hotel, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the third T20I! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
Today you have the opportunity to add an excursion to Dambulla Rock Temple to your package. We highly recommend this, though it does involve climbing a lot of stairs.
Enjoy a morning at leisure before heading to the Dambulla Rock Temple. This is a UNESCO World Heirtage Site, and the most impressive of Sri Lanka's ancient cave temples. The complex of five caves has painted murals with over 150 images of Buddha, including a carving that spans 14 metres.
On completion, return to the hotel with the group.

Today we head back to Colombo for the final leg of our tour! Check-out of your hotel in the morning and join the coach to make the 3.5 hour journey. On arrival in Colombo, we will be able to check-in for a 4 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
After a leisurely day at the hotel, join the group and transfer to the stadium for the penultimate T20I! After the game, the coach will take us back to the hotel.

The final match of the series! After a relaxed day, join the group in transferring to the stadium for the last match. After the game is finished, the coach will take us back to the hotel.
Today marks our last day in Sri Lanka. Check out of your hotel and make your way to the airport with the group for your flight back to the UK. On arrival, say your goodbyes to your group, and make your own onward travel arrangements.

India hold the record for the highest ODI score here, putting on 375/5 in 2017.

Discover one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks on an afternoon adventure to the awe-inspiring Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and true wonder of the ancient world.
Depart with the group for the cultural heartland of Sri Lanka and arrive at Sigiriya, famously known as the Lion Rock. Rising 200 meters above the surrounding jungle, this towering rock outcrop was once a royal citadel in the 5th century.
The climb to the summit is an experience in itself. As you ascend the winding staircases and pathways carved into the rock, you’ll pass centuries-old frescoes, the famed Mirror Wall with its ancient inscriptions, and the impressive Lion’s Paw Terrace that marks the final stage of the climb.
