As part of the tour itinerary your trip will begin with welcome drinks and an opportunity to meet your Tour Manager and fellow tourists. Also included is a Howzat highlight, our popular Cricket Dinner will be back in New Zealand. Hosted by your Tour Manager and featuring a special guest, with past guests including Michael Atherton, Steve Harmison, Jonathan Agnew, Marais Erasmus and many, many more this is a fantastic opportunity to get a unique insight into the game.

Arriving into New Zealand in Christchurch - clear customs and immigration, collect your bags and transfer with the group to your hotel, where you will be staying for 8 nights on a B&B basis.
Christchurch is a vibrant city offering spectacular culture and heritage. This evening, join with other tour group members and staff for welcome drinks.
In the evening, you are invited to join your Tour Manager and the rest of your group for welcome drinks. This will also be an ideal chance for you to meet your fellow Howzat Travellers.
A day at leisure to enjoy in Christchurch. The Botanical Gardens in Hagley Park are a great way to experience some of the local flora, or the gondola offers breath-taking views of Christchurch and beyond.
The Riverside Market in the CBD is also a popular choice, offering plenty of food vendors, unique arts and crafts, and local produce
Each morning, board the Howzat transfer to the match. After the day’s play the coach will return you to your hotel.
England have only played a Test match here once before, so this will be a new pitch for much of the squad. That game ended in a draw - it would be fair to say that under Ben Stokes's stewardship, a result will be much more likely this time around!
Days 1-5
A day to enjoy Christchurch before heading to Wellington tomorrow.
Christchurch is a vibrant city offering spectacular culture and heritage. Quake City is a museum that's well worth a visit - encapsulating the impact of the earthquake that occurred here.
Today we head to the North Island in preparation for the second Test!
On arrival into Wellington we will transfer to the hotel for a seven night stay.
Nestled between green hills and a sparkling harbour, Wellington is a vibrant city with a buzzing art, music, theatre and restaurant scene, as well as designer and boutique shopping. Wellington is also home to the New Zealand Parliament and the national museum, Te Papa.
A day to become accustomed to your new surroundings in Wellington.
Wellington is renowned for its vibrant culture - Hannah's Laneway is right in the heart of the city and is the perfect place to taste some local flavours or pick up some souvenirs. Another must-do is the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, which will give you a great insight into Maori culture.
Each morning transfer with the group to the Basin Reserve for all five days of the second Test. At the end of each day's play, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
England's last Test here in 2023 is certainly one that sticks in the memory...
Days1-5
This morning we will depart Wellington on the Northern Explorer Train! This unique journey will take you into the heart of the North Island and is a really great way to see New Zealand's volcanic plateau.
At Otorohanga we will disembark the train and drive to Rotorua - a culturally and geographically significant location, it's been a popular part of lots of Howzat New Zealand trips.

A day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful part of the country!
This evening we will be visiting the Tamaki Maori Village for a Te Pā Tū ceremony. It's set to be a memorable day and will include Maori song, tradition, and divine seasonal cuisine - including the famous Hāngi dinner. This is included in your package.
This morning we have included a guided visit of the National Kiwi Hatchery - Aotearoa. Here we will learn about Kiwi recovery programmes and how this Hatchery is playing its part in bringing the bird back from the brink of extinction on the New Zealand mainland.
After this, we will travel by coach over the Mamaku Ranges, continuing north into the Waikato Valley and on to Hamilton, the destination for the final test Match. On arrival, check-in to your hotel for a six night stay on a B&B basis.
The third and final Test of the series!
Each morning we will transfer as a group to Seddon Park, returning after the day's play.
A win here would be England's first at this ground in Test Matches.
Days 1-5
Today we say goodbye to Hamilton and make our way back up to Auckland by coach for the flight back to the UK.
Arrive early this morning back in the UK, say your goodbyes to your group, and make your own onward travel arrangements.

The Hagley Oval in Christchurch has hosted cricket matches since as far back as 1867, but has been redeveloped since the earthquake in the city in 2011. Both Kane Williamson and Tom Latham have Test Match double centuries on this pitch - England's bowlers will have to be on top of their game here.
A standard general admission ticket is included in your package. Exact seating location is still to be confirmed. Deck chairs will be provided for the grassbanks.

One of the most popular cricket grounds in the world, and is labelled as a Historic Area in New Zealand. Turned from a swamp into a cricket ground in 1857, it's the oldest Test cricket stadium in New Zealand, and is also the location where now England coach Brendon McCullum scored his famous 302 in 2014. The New Zealand Cricket Museum is also housed on-site, displaying cricket memorabilia and a reference library.
A standard general admission ticket is included in your package. General admission tickets will be provided with a deckchair for the grassbanks. Exact seating location is still to be confirmed. You have the option to upgrade to a Category B ticket (Old Museum Stand) for +£25pp, or a Category A ticket (R.A. Vance Stand) for +£45pp. Category B & A tickets still allow you access to the grassbanks.

The fourth-largest cricket ground in New Zealand, Seddon Park is widely renowned for it's 'village green' feel. The pitch is generally good for batting, as proved by New Zealand's 715/6d here in 2019, against Bangladesh. Another venue where Kane Williamson boasts a double hundred!

You have the option to upgrade to a Category B ticket (Uncovered Seated Stand) for +£25pp. Category B tickets still allow you access to the grassbanks.

It is the perfect hotel for access to iconic attractions including Te Papa Museum, the Cable Car, Botanical Gardens and the stunning Waterfront.
